According to the accredited mechanical flying rules
the bumble-bee can't fly,
because of its shape and its weight
compared with its wing surface.
But the bumble-bee doesn't know about that
and does fly nonetheless.

[Rolf Schneider]

Since 1992, when we decided to live our dream and to publish fine and finest books around typography, graphic design and creativity, we sometimes did break the accredited rules of the publishing industry.

Still, the beauty and success of our books sometimes seemed to give us wings to fly. Maybe bumble-bees can do that by themselves. Publishers can't. They need support from people who believe that even small teams can make big things happen. People who are willing to get "contaminated" by the passion and the courage to try new things.

People who work with us and the fact that sometimes we work as if we had ants in our pants [In German, the saying is "bumble-bees in the pants"]. These people exist! In trade, at universities, and in editorial teams. But also, of course, in our little team, that we would like to introduce to you.

By the way: Our team gets supportive wings by our committed and enthusiastic interns [6 months] and trainees [18 months].
