We are always being asked how a book comes into being at Schmidt. In this case, it went like this: Judith Schalansky came to portfolio day [see page …] and returned to Berlin with a preliminary agreement. After five months of daily emails, the book was published in March 2006. Exactly one year later, Judith Schalansky accepted silver on the stage of the ADC, a week after that a magna cum laud degree from the FH Potsdam [for another great project].
