Achim Böhmer

Achim Böhmer, born 1964 in Dortmund, Germany, studied communication design at the Folkwang University in Essen. During his studies he already won numerous design contests.
After graduating in 1996 as a student of Professor Vilim Vasata he worked for renowned design agencies in Düsseldorf and developed logos for Allianz and WestLB. In 1998 he founded the “Logo Projektagentur” and focused on brand strategy.
He develops brand concepts and corporate identity programs for his clients. Some of his constituents are Deutscher Chorverband, Deutsche Städte Medien, JC Decaux Deutschland, Metro Group, Universität Dortmund, Wilo AG as well as several cities and regions in Germany. Together with Sara Hausmann he founded the design agency achta in 2008.
